Meet Dana Poitevint
Owner of Your Style on Point!
Dana was born on Long Island in New York and moved to Central Florida at the age of 10. She decided
early on that she wanted to be a teacher and earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from the
University of Central Florida (UCF). She met her husband, Waylon, while at UCF and September 20th is
now a very important day for them! Not only is it the day they met in 2006, but they were also married
on that same day two years later! Dana tells us, “We now have three children, Waylon (13), Ava (12) and
Grayson (8). The oldest will be 14 next month and I’m not ready!” They also have two fur babies,
dalmatians Zues and Stella.
Dana lives by the Confucius saying, “Choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your
life.” She was a kindergarten teacher for 7 years before deciding to stay home and open her own
business. She explains, “I was looking for something I enjoyed and could do at home & online so I could
be more active in my kids’ lives. I opened my online boutique at the beginning of 2017 and it has only
grown from there. There have been LOTS of ups and down but I still enjoy what I do every day and that
is what matters most!” Dana moved with her family to Texas in 2020 and continued to run her online
boutique. She opened a brick-and-mortar location here in Kingwood in 2022 and has loved getting to
meet and style many of our friends and neighbors!
Your Style on Point is a women’s clothing & accessories boutique. Dana strives to offer cute,
comfortable, affordable, and stylish clothes women can wear from running errands to date night! What
is unique about YSOP is Dana’s personalized attention to her customers and consideration when
choosing her inventory. “I work really hard to create a fun shopping experience and amazing customer
service! I search for items that are on trend, affordable and can’t be found anywhere else!”
“My boutique is my happy place (other than my home) and I absolutely LOVE meeting my customers,
who usually turn into friends! I enjoy getting to know you and creating a personal wardrobe just for you!
Creating your new favorite outfit is one of my favorite things to do!”
Dana has hosted several “Sip & Shop” events for our Kings Point ladies and looks forward to more
events in the future. She is also now offering Private Shopping Parties! These events offer exclusive
access to inventory from the comfort of your home! The hostess may invite as many friends (in person
or online) as she would like and is encouraged to provide snacks and drinks. Dana will handle the rest!
She’ll bring a variety of merchandise from the boutique for you and your friends to browse and shop!
The hostess will receive a credit to spend on boutique merchandise, which varies based upon the
number of ladies in attendance and the amount spent. This is a unique opportunity to explore the latest
